Real Results

From Amazon buyers.

I used to spend $65 at the spa every six weeks. Now I do it at home every two weeks for a fraction of the cost.

The blade is sharp without being scary. My skin is glass-smooth every time.

Great starter pack. My foundation goes on so smooth after I dermaplane.

The difference with and without the oil is night and day. No tugging, no irritation.

My skin drinks this up after dermaplaning. Worth it as a finishing step.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is at-home dermaplaning safe?

Yes — when done on clean, dry skin with a fresh blade, light pressure, and the blade held at roughly a 45° angle. The two rules that matter most: never use a dull blade, and skip the session entirely if your skin is broken out or irritated.

Will my hair grow back thicker or darker?

No. This is the most persistent dermaplaning myth, and it has been debunked. Dermaplaning removes fine vellus hair ("peach fuzz"), and cutting hair does not change its thickness, color, or growth rate. The freshly cut edge can feel slightly blunt for a few days, but it is the same fine hair growing back.

How often should I dermaplane?

Every 2–4 weeks for most people. That cadence matches your skin’s natural renewal cycle and gives it time to rest between sessions — dermaplaning more often doesn’t accelerate results. Always use a fresh blade: replace after every 1–2 uses.

Does dermaplaning hurt?

No. With a sharp blade, light pressure, and a few drops of pre-shave oil to reduce friction, dermaplaning is painless — most people describe a light scraping sensation. There is no downtime; you can apply skincare and makeup shortly after.

Who should avoid dermaplaning?

Anyone with active acne breakouts, inflamed or irritated skin, or flare-ups of conditions like eczema or psoriasis in the area. Wait until your skin is calm before dermaplaning, and check with a dermatologist if you are unsure.
